Ubimo’s secret sauce algo rates and evaluates hundreds of thousands bids per
second. This algo allows Ubimo to outperform our competitors results. As a data
scientist at Ubimo, you will apply Big-Data methodologies to analyze large scale
data sets. You will design and implement advanced algorithms to improve our
platform performance and evaluate our data to automatically clean outliers.
Responsibilities
• Research, develop, and apply methods for measuring and analyzing campaign results
• Develop new algorithms and methods for optimizing campaign performance, revenue,
and adoption
• Implement both offline and online algorithms to improve bidding strategy
• Research new ways for modeling and predicting end-user behavior
• Lead investigations into multiple streams of product data
• Design experiments to answer targeted questions. Conduct exploratory data analysis in high
dimensions
Minimum qualifications
• BA/BS degree in Statistics or other quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Applied
Mathematics, etc .
• Experience with large data sets using statistical software (R, S-Plus, Matlab, or similar) and
large databases (SQL)
Preferred qualifications
• MS or PhD in Statistics or other quantitative disciplines such as Engineering,
Applied Mathematics, etc.
• Broad work experience with large data sets. Strong experimental design and analysis skills
• Considerable practical experience in quantitative analysis. Demonstrated leadership and
self-direction
• Machine Learning, Operations Research, Online advertising, Languages such as Python, Java,
C++, SQL, and big data technologies
• Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions
• Willingness to learn new techniques
