Job Description

Superfly is looking for a statistician/data scientist to take our data team to the next level. You will work closely with our CTO and CEO towards exponential growth in the depth and quality of our data as well as helping implement classifiers and predictive models to automate our workflow and bring value to our customers.

 

This is a unique opportunity to join a funded start-up with market traction in one of the hottest fields in business intelligence. Our customer base includes leading hedge funds, ecommerce sites and household brands. We believe in hiring smart people who get things done, giving them the tools they need and then getting out of their way.

You probably have:

• A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
• Worked as quantitative analyst, business analyst, data scientist or data driven management consultant.
• Experience with R/python programming.
• Have used packages like scikit-learn/pandas,numpy
• Experience  with SQL including query optimisation
• An understanding of “the cloud”, experience with AWS.
• A working knowledge of Linux
• Experience using GitHub or other version control frameworks.
• Great communication skills
