Job Responsibilities
• Provide eBay Structured Data (SD) team with statistical support in precision checks, AB testing, and ongoing statistical projects
• Utilize statistical methods to find patterns and relationships in large volumes of data
• Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics to solve business problems
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to identify and implement the best practice to deliver data insights
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in Statistics graduate program, or in 3rd year of Statistics undergraduate program
• Proficiency in R analytics tool and MS Excel
• Well experienced with applied quantitative research working with real world data, either through thesis/seminar research, internships, or work experience
• High-end knowledge of data science, sampling processes, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
• Expected to communicate conclusions clearly through verbal and written communication
Bonus Points
• SQL knowledge
• Experience with data visualization
