As part of this newer department, the Digital Scholarship Librarians will be integral to the formation of a network of experts that support digital scholarship needs of the university. The successful candidates will be pioneers, along with their colleagues, in helping to shape new services and collaborations. They will have the opportunity to partner with students, faculty, staff, and librarians to enhance learning, teaching, and scholarship through the application of technology and emergent digital research methods across the disciplines. The library is committed to supporting entry level librarians through mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities, and expects ongoing training and re-tooling to be part of the evolving nature of digital scholarship work.
