Freelance Part time statistician / data scientist

Job Description

Gradient is a quantitative market research firm. We work with survey data and transactional data sets to build statistical models for our clients – typically to answer questions they have about their marketing activities.

I am looking for a freelance R developer who has a strong statistical background. Specifically I am looking for developers who are capable of doing the following:

  • Cleaning / reshaping data (with dplyr)
  • Building production quality graphics (with ggplot)
  • Factor analysis, clustering (with k-means and more advanced methods), correspondence analysis
  • Building regressions and classifiers, both with more advanced techniques like random forests and boosted trees, but also with more traditional methods like CART trees, linear discriminant analysis, and classical and generalized regression

I am looking for a freelance developers (at a rate of $1500-$2500 per week).
