Postdoc – Norwegian institute of public health – Dept. Genetics and bioinformatics

LifeCycle is a large EU project that brings together European pregnancy and child cohort studies into a new EuroCHILD Cohort Network. LifeCycle will harmonize, integrate and analyze data from participating studies to identify novel markers of early life stressors influencing developmental trajectories for respiratory, cardio-metabolic and health. A secondary goal is to Identify DNA methylation markers mediating the relations of early-life stressors and these health trajectories. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health will participate in the LifeCycle project using data from the Norwegian Mother Child Cohort Study (MoBa).

We are seeking an excellent and enthusiastic post-doctoral candidate to join our LifeCycle research team. The successful candidate will work across the full range of activities necessary to maximize the contribution of MoBa data to LifeCyle research. In addition to participating in LifeCycle consortium research activities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and conduct research using the unique data available through MoBa.
