Requirements
- Strong experience applying sophisticated statistical, mathematical, or machine learning methods to analyze complex datasets.
- Ability to implement models and tools through the use of high-level modeling languages like R, Python, Gurobi and others
- Strong programming skills, including in R, Python, SQL, C++, Java or other programming languages
- Understanding of relational database architecture and the ability to merge large sets of data from disparate source
- Accept responsibility for assignments and be able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Maintain a positive working environment and work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience creating compelling visualizations and demonstrate findings using various visualization tools (e.g. R Shiny) would be an asset
- 4+ years’ experience for Masters’ degree candidates and 2+ years’ experience for PhD’s degree candidates
- Masters degree in Operations Research, Computer Science (with background in Statistics), Statistics (with background in programming) or similar quantitative discipline. PhD’ degree preferred
