Job Description

We have a position available for a programmer to provide support for software development for statnet, a suite of R packages for Exponential Random Graph Modeling (http://statnet.org). The development team includes PhD level statisticians and software developers at several locations (at UW and elsewhere). Funding is available for at least 2 years. Key skills required include R and C competency; familiarity with package development tools; experience with statistical programming and networks would both be a big plus. The job will involve a mix of software optimization and management of the process for updating the suite of statnet packages with regular public releases.
