The Department of Economic and Social Sciences is looking for a
Research Assistant (m/f)
as a member of the research project „Das Lernende Gesundheitssystem in der Region Osnabrück-Emsland (ROSE)“ in the field „research infrastructure and support for research methods“.
The focus of the project is patient-centered research and the development of an infrastructure for research and cooperation within the Region Osnabrück-Emsland. We offer an interdisciplinary background within the ROSE project and external partners. Another aim is a joint graduate school together with the University Osnabrück to enable a continuous development of our staff including promotions.
We are looking for a person as research assistant to develop a scientific data warehouse including the specific interfaces to existing databases of cooperating partners, and integration of a statistic software, e.g. R.
The successful candidate will have completed relevant scientific studies at a higher education institute in medical informatics or a related field, practical experience in working with databases, profound knowledge of software developments including requirements engineering and implementation. Knowledge in HL7 and quantitative data analysis, e.g. statistics and biometrics is a plus.
Employment is limited until 30.11.2020. Payment is according to German payment scale 13 TV-L.
