Senior Statistician
Core Clinical Sciences (CCS) includes statisticians who develop innovative statistical methods to support simulation-guided designs of complex innovative trials. Our culture is inclusive, collaborative, and quality driven. CCS hires passionate and talented people who share its mission of providing solution-oriented, high-quality services for our clients.
We are hiring a Senior Statistician with a strong background in Bayesian statistics, simulations and modelling, and R to join our group. You will be responsible for developing our capacity in simulation-guided design services for adaptive trial designs and other complex innovative trial designs, such as platform trials.
Your Impact
You are a statistical innovator with strong fundamental understanding of statistics and fluency in R.
You are well versed in Bayesian and frequentist statistics and aware of strengths and limitations of both statistical paradigms. You are open to learning and developing expertise in clinical trial research, simulation- guided trial design, statistical methods, regulatory guidance as they pertain to the clinical development life-cycle.
You are committed to maximizing CCS’s presence and leadership in innovative clinical trial design, clinical trial simulation, and advanced statistics. You are comfortable working with key client and internal stakeholders and encouraging the integration of novel statistical approaches to our group.

- Support and lead proposals and projects for clients
- Monitor project progress, set deadlines, provide solutions, and evaluate project performance to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Develop our technical capacities to support statistical design of complex innovative trial designs and advanced analytics
- Create internal R packages related to trial design, trial analyses, and reporting with easy-to-use documentations and users guide (vignettes) to allow other statisticians to implement
- Develop internal templates using RMarkdown/Quarto to facilitate delivery of our client deliverables
- Monitor key emerging innovative statistical and data science methodologies and drive education and integration of emerging methods into internal road-maps
- Effectively communicate advanced statistical concepts and information to both technical and non- technical audiences, creating a compelling case for innovative trial designs with internal constituents and external partners
- Design and implement graphical approaches to help explore and illustrate all aspects of trial design considerations with a focus on clarity for a non-statistical audience
