Dear R-Users,
Short version:
* work from home
* research open data business cases
* write machine learning models for regression / classification to solve specific business cases
* chose yourself on which problems to work

Long version:
My name is Orges Leka and I am a freelance data scientist. Just as you, I also look from time to time at R-Users for a possible job.
Currently I am building a marketplace for machine learning models.
Why should you be interested?
At this marketplace you can sell your classification / regression machine learning models you developed in R and exported to pmml (pmml packages) or pfa (aurelius package)
for as much as you want! The transaction fees are very small, only 10%.
Where is the clue?
Since this marketplace is in early stage, you have to research open data which allows commercial usage and build some model which solves a specific business problem.
A few ideas might be found here:

or some specific solution which I have developed:

I know, this job posting is not for the usual data scientist, since it requires one to think out of the box and be a little bit like an enterpreneur,
to come up with solutions which fullfill the equation:
machine learning + open data = business value
How do you price your models?
(Number of hours you have worked on the model) * (How much do you earn per hour) / (Number of possible clients who will buy your model)
For example if you work like 10 hours experimenting with different models and earn 90€ per hour and you think that 2-3 clients will buy your model, than you could
set the price at 360€ for your model.
Kind regards
Orges Leka
